Faith here looks like prayer before lunch, songs everyone knows by heart, and a teacher helping two four-year-olds work out an apology. It's lived, not performed.
School may be out, but work isn’t. Ask about Friday care for school-age children when school is not in session — care is subject to the school calendar and current AGLA availability.

Growing up happens one little milestone at a time — from holding their own cup to putting on their shoes, solving a problem with a friend, and walking confidently into kindergarten. Here’s how we help them get there.
Teachers learn your child's name, their routines, the toy they always look for first, and the thing that makes them laugh. Relationships are the part of childcare you can't systematize — so we protect them: steady teachers, familiar rooms, and unhurried mornings.
Prayer before meals, songs everyone knows by heart, age-appropriate Bible learning, and everyday conversations about kindness, gratitude, forgiveness, and grace. Faith here is lived rather than performed.
“And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.” — Luke 2:52
Hands-on exploration, movement, art, conversation, and teacher-guided experiences — because that is how children this age actually learn. What looks like play is problem solving, language, and early math in disguise.
Self-help skills, potty-training support, routines, and the emotional vocabulary to say what's wrong instead of falling apart. We're not only preparing children for the next classroom — we're helping prepare them for life.
Daily updates, photos, and messages through Playground, so what happens at school and what happens at home stay connected — especially through the milestones that take both of us.
Open 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, and supper. Before- and after-school care with transportation. Care over school breaks and summer. CCS accepted, and payments by ACH or card in Playground. Childcare that fits a real family schedule.
Keypad access at the door, with an alarm system on the building.
Facility cameras support supervision. Camera access is not parent-facing.
CPR and First Aid training, ongoing early-childhood training, and CDA credentials among applicable staff.
Classrooms cleaned daily, materials kept in good repair, and routines children can count on.
Have questions about supervision, classroom routines, or safety practices? We’re happy to walk you through them during your tour.
Amazing Grace Learning Academy opened in Athens, Texas in 2024 with a simple belief: children deserve a place where they feel safe, deeply cared for, encouraged, and reminded that their circumstances do not define their potential.
The name Amazing Grace reflects the heart behind that mission. Grace means meeting children where they are, giving them room to grow, and surrounding them with the love, structure, faith, and opportunity they need to become confident, capable people.
What began as one learning academy has grown into a community of children, families, and educators learning life together. As Amazing Grace grows, that foundation stays the same: God first, children at the center, and families treated as partners in the work of helping them grow.
The best thing about Amazing Grace isn't a curriculum or a building. It's the person who learns your child's name in the first week and remembers what makes them laugh.
Our director and assistant director handle enrollment, classroom placement, staffing, and the day-to-day running of the center. They're in the building, not behind a corporate desk — and they're who you'll talk to on a tour.
Lead teachers and assistant teachers stay with their classroom so children get consistency instead of a rotating cast. Each room is staffed by people who chose this work on purpose.
Background checks, CPR and First Aid training, and ongoing early-childhood training are part of the job here — with CDA development supported for staff who want it.
We're always glad to hear from good early-childhood educators.
The things parents ask us most — hours, meals, CCS, transportation, and what the first week actually looks like.
